Would not surprise me cause of what the car is but its really weird and i cant figure it out. Ok exhaust Gaskets,Doughnuts leaking like no other, crappy Idle, smell of gas so bad you almost cant stand to sit in the car and SES light on ALL the time = stomp the gas burnout on dry pavement now i fixed the exhaust leaks, bad sensors, and all that now i have no SES light and the idle is smooth as silk at 500rpm BUT no power I can still do a brake stand but i can no longer just mash the gas and get a burnout. hell it would not even do it today in the rain! i know i ask these kinda questions all the time and i normally figure out the problem the next day but this one has been bothering me for almost 2 weeks. thats a long time for a problem to stay on this car normally it switches to something else after a few days LOL.

yup tranny is good. timing chain has less than 10,000 miles on it same as the rest of the engine. I have put almost 6500 on the engine, my sister put about 1000 on it and the guy we bought the engine from put about the same on it. so its still damn near new. the trans was rebuilt like 2 months before i got the car so that should not be a problem.

nope. no codes. was getting an EGR code for a LONG time but that has yet to show up for the last 4 or 5 times i have read the codes. perty much not since i fixed the exhaust. Oh and Gas mileage is MUCH better.

EDIT: ok so its not a total lack of power its just the initial burst just isnt there. It will go 0-40 and back to 0 in the space of a block(dont know if thats good or bad could go more but im not gonna see how much more prolly not much) but it just wont break the damn rear tires loose for anything. no big deal cause as my dad tells me i dont need to do that, but its just SO fun to do . Oh and I am getting roughly 12.5mpg going WOT at every stop where there ain't a cop and any chance i get other wise. Again i dont know if thats good or bad for the conditions. gonna try to drive like a normal person for the next week or so and see how much better it gets.
