Throttle body spacer
Anyone interested in one of these? I know some guys swear AT them, saying they either don't work, or they SUCK, but if anyone wants one, let me know- I am doing the plenum spacers that I mentioned next week and can make some of these too...
I am thinking $39 each, 6061 aluminum- anodizing extra.

Re: Throttle body spacer
I will include shipping. I just made one for myself and will be picking it up from the anodizer's on Tuesday. I will post a picture...

Re: Throttle body spacer
Plenum spacers effectively increase the plenum volume. So guys trying one on a 4.8L LSx ( LR4 ) probably will hate the spacer, since they already have plenty of volume. But guys trying them on a 6.0L LSx will probably get much better results.
I expect the same deal here: they should be more helpful to those of us with 3.4L swaps than to those of you still stuck at 2.8L.
I'll probably try making 2 of my own out of 3/4" plywood, using the old gasket as a pattern, for my initial testing.

Re: Throttle body spacer
The problem with anodizing, powdercoating etc is the order minimums. If I am doing a bunch it is cheap. The other issue is the waterjet leaves a textured surface where it cuts that needs to be sanded, so there is a bit of labor there that can make it cost prohibitive. It took me about an hour or so to sand mine smooth so that it looked polished- that makes the anodizing look better. You will be able to see what I mean in the photos. I should be picking the parts up on Tuesday I think, so I should have photos up on Wednesday. And it would be a perfect place to mount your nitrous nozzle!

Re: Throttle body spacer
besides this being useless how are u going to correct the tv cable since a throttle body spacer will make the tv cable to short to work properly
