LH0 hesitation and misfiring. Linked video.

Hi guys,

need some help to solve this kind of misfiring and hesitation from my LH0 V6. When hot starts to behave like in the linked video, and sometimes this issue causes a stall. As you can see, the Y-pipe is cracked and I disconnected the oxygen sensor and I got no ECM code. I replaced the most of components without solving. Just the stock injectors are still to be replaced. Some people suggested me to change the Y pipe (because the EGR valve (digital) has wrong parameters from the oxygen sensor) but it' s nearly impossible to find. it' s a WALKER 40442.
Any help is really appreciated! Thanks!

Have you attempted to ohm the injectors engine warm ?
is the icm new ?
a heated o2 might help but without a scanner to see what’s going on it’s hard to tell.

Thanks for you reply! I replaced the ICM some days ago with the pick up cool, I measured the injectors at cold not warm. Tomorrow I’m going to scan the car, I’ll put some screenshots ASAP!

You might want to check pump voltage at the tank, ops and ecm pin e13

That Y-pipe looks like a broken mess. Could seriously be messing with the afr..

How do I perform the tests you said to do?
What do you mean for ops?
I’ll upload the file in zip instead of rar

Re: LH0 hesitation and misfiring. Linked video.

You can check voltage with a volt meter.
Here is a flow chart. If you come to the ecm pin test it’s not b2 like stated in this chart it should be e13 a grey wire at the ecm.
the engine looks like it’s running rich.
i do t see the reason why. Could be a exhaust leak by the o2.
the o2 is active . Pump voltage is 13.4-13.8 so I’m not sure why it’s throwing a code could be a bad ecm.

Re: LH0 hesitation and misfiring. Linked video.

I just bought the new pipe, I’ ll make a new read when It ll install it into the car. Thanks for the chart, I replaced a new fuel pump recently but I noticed the fuel pump relay wires were spliced to install an anti-theft system. Maybe the problem is there?

Are you running headers ?
just curious why someone relocated the o2 so far down.

Re: LH0 hesitation and misfiring. Linked video.

I think they’re stock, I was told the engine head is from a 2.8 instead of 3.1. Looking at the pipe pic the O2 position seems the same. Today I’ll perform the voltage drop test, I’ll let you know. Thank you very much!!

How do I perform the test? I have to remove the plenum to do that?
