some guy said it might be the modulator tube. i had it parked since november, and now it wont shift into third gear, everything else shifts fine. he said spiders like to go up there.

I could have sold it for bank out in arizona when i left. They love these down there. Would always see the shells in the yards, but not a decent part on them. Out here, the yards are full of them....

replaced it, it's all taken care of. the new one is kinda 'tight' and takes some more pressure to shift, but i guess that's better than it being stuck in OD. thanks fellers!

found the problem... the bracket that holds the shift linkage (from tranny pan) has a disconnection between a rubber grommet and the plastic bit that goes into the metal bracket. does this grommet...
