I would start with the obvious tune up stuff. Pull a plug and see how it looks. Check the gap on it. If its a new dizzy, I doubt it would be acting up.

The first 2 are the other collectors that fit. The 3rd is the detachable flange from the y-pipe that doesn't fit. You can see a gap on the right side of the picture.

I just bought the headman shorty headers and y-pipe combo from Hawks. Just inspecting them out of the box, the collector is too big for the Y-pipe flange. I can't get it to cover the whole flange....

I just had to rebuild my T5 due to a shattered 1-2 shift fork. Broke it all the way down to replace synchronizers, seals, and bearings just to give it that new feeling....
