Like yours, my primaries open 90* straight but the secondaries are about 80*. Enough that the throttle shaft is hidden by the plate. When I get home tonight I will look at the bracket geometry....

I disagree. A 10-bolt 26spline is weaker than a 28spline. And if he could find a borg warner axle that would be even better. And as long as you don't actually get traction a 454 won't break a 10-bolt...

I'm finishing up my 3.1L to 454 swap. Wasn't that tough aside from the exhaust. If you have the money get some headers designed for the swap and everything will go well.

I had a similar problem with my car a while back. The spring wasn't in the upper perch quite right so it lifted one side. Check your front springs and remeasure on a dead flat surface.

Ya, not very impressed with the outcome on this motor. Base timing, AFR is good, just wasn't a good cam to pick. Its really the only thing thats not right about what I did. Ah well.

Ya, iron head. The Cardomain is in my sig. Its a 2.8 block, 3.1 crank, .060 overbore, .430 lift cam on 1.5's (too big), and 3 angle seats. I cut out the shrowding in the heads right above the valves....

If I remember correctly, the port choke limited horse power is 220-240 for our motors. Without changing that I doubt he hit that. I hate the iron V6...

Delta is a decent company. Thats who I got my cam from. Its the biggest one (one of three?) for the MAF based 2.8. Its "working" with my MAP computer. Not well though. Idle is still not very tunable...
