My champion radiator leaked from the cap (replaced with a stock one), tranny inlet leaked, bottom tranny line was stripped, and the drain leaked. Fixed all that mess only to have the coolant boil out...

It's Bowtie Overdrive's setup. They make different ones for different cables (ie factory, Lokar, etc).
I tried Edelbrock's more simple one but it was a piece of junk.

SMI stands for Sean Murphy Quadrajet. He is one of the foremost experts in quadrajets.
When I originally rebuilt the electronic quadrajet I purchased all of my sensors through NAPA.

If you get a 1 ton hoist you will have to remove the nose and bumper supports to get to the motor.
A 2 ton should allow you to do everything with the body intact. I was given a 1 ton for free so...

Look for an L69 car. They have a larger manifold and 'y'-pipe.
Head over to the exhaust board to get some more ideas. I've personally used Dyno Don's and am extremely happy with them.
