Re: Tuner Pro V5

I have a question, on my dash the Coolant temp (F) is wrong.
The C reads 88 deg which is good but F reads 230 deg.

I have the MAT C and MAT F which read good so that conversion
should work.

Re: pistons to valve clearance

Scrap the 882's there one of the worst flowing heads (unless ported hard).
Get a set of Vortecs (64 cc) milled (60 cc).

Re: open loop idle question

When it is cold change the choke tables. (Coolant temp).

If you don't have enough choke it will surge (lean surge)
and fall on it's face when you step on the gas.

Re: Too much steering assist after LT1 swap?

If you can find a under-drive pulley for it that would help.

If the car wanders around, it is out of alignment.

You should be able to let go of the wheel (not that you
should) on a level road...

Re: 96 impala ss lt1 swap ECU questions obdii

The OBD2 costs more for the tuning programs.

You can use a 96 engine and a 94-95 computer (OBD1) and the
knock sensor from the 94-95 (black connector end).
