1984 T/A W62 Trim Color - Silver Color Code

My 84 T/A is in the body shop being repainted. The body has been sprayed in the original Medium Dark Royal Blue metallic.

We are trying to determine the color code used for the silver Ground...

Of course an engine swap is never done. As an FYI the stock throttle cable bracket that mounts to the intake manifold and holds the throttle and TV cables is not a direct swap/ fit with this...

FYI, I went with the Summit Racing SUM-226008, it is infact stock height and fit perfectly.

I e-mailed both Edelbrock and Summitt about their intakes. According to Edelbrock the Performer should be within 1/4" of an inch of the stock intake manifold height. Summitt says that their...

Thanks for the reply five7kid. That 1/4"-1/2" is a bit too close for my liking. (With the factory carb, aircleaner, cowl induction, and the STB, clearances are pretty tight.)

Well I asked this question on Edelbrocks Facebook page and received the following reply:

"If there is any difference in height it will be minimal within 1/4"."

So I think I should be OK going...

I dont think S/E's will ever bring a large "value" compared to the T/A's, GTA's, IROC-Z's etc. As far as your car, with its mileage I wouldnt value it above any other...
