without changing the stall there's not to many options out there. if you've got the l98 cam you would be better of putting a set of 1.6 rockers on than tearing into the engine.

with those gear and converter id go with the 210/220 comp. anything over 480 lift will require you to mechine the head for valve seal clearince.
sounds like a soild setup.

are you getting any trouble codes??
look inside the MAF and see if any of the wires are broken, that happened to me.

i think i have an extra MAF...

with that cam you will need new springs. some comp pn#981 springs will work fine. you will also need some new retainers. "I" would do this for either of the cams stated (LT1 or zz4).

as far as 1.6rr iam not sure if its too much idk.
but i do know that the 981 spring fit right in your stock head with No modification. the seat pressure is close to stock so no shiming is necessary.

as for the exhaust, krisW is right. not only is the primary that important but the length is as well. i know a guy that dropped 4tenths off of his quarter by going from the 1'3/4 slp's to the hooker...

one other thing you might need to know is that the 85 computer is different than the 86. so it limits your oppitions on tuning. not many people burn the chips for the 85.:confused: i made the swap...

if i slowly creap up on the throttle it will rev clean and as soon as i hear it sputter if i let off just a little it cleans right back up.
