Re: Whats the widest i can go?

You can get a 275/45-r16 drag radial from Toyo. Thats probably more tire then you'll ever need.

Re: finally dyno'd my 91z

not bad numbers. get the A/F ratios a bit richer and you should pick up some power. typically, 12.7:1 is ideal. but for the newer stuff, it may be different.

Re: Edelbrock 1406 - (Running 11:1 AFR cant get desired 14.7:1) next step?

i lost 0.4 sec and 2mph in the 1/4 going from low 13:1 to 14.7:1.

12.8:1 is the average ratio for power.

Re: Vortec 350 build goes 7.456 in 1/8 mile

you sure you're looking at the right time? i'm not saying i'm doubting you but 7.4 @ 75mph in the 1/8th with a 2.19 60ft seems hardly feasible.

7.4's usually run between of 90-100mph at the 1/8th...

Re: Which AFR's would be best?

if you want torque, stay away from the 227 and 235. the bigger the runner, the less lowend torque and more highend hp. CHP made 615hp with the 195 eliminators. the 210's will be more than sufficient.

Re: Which AFR's would be best?

227's are for WILD, 550+hp, 383+ci motors. the 235's should not be used under 400 cubes unless you are spinning to 9k.

depends on your goals for your engine. all out drag racer, 210's....
