I have this axle.
It is a 10-bolt drum brake.
it has an axle code of: 6H E C 314 1
I DO NOT have a RPO code, because i have no car that it attaches to.
I know it is a limited slip - both axles...

As I understand it, the injectors I have are designed to operate correctly at 65 psi.
The 88 GTA does not have that fuel pressure without a new pump install,

Yes, actually they were hooked up to 2 toggle switches and basically ran all the time.
That has been remedied. (one of those "other issues")

You are correct all those items could cause it to overheat, so I will go more in depth.
I replaced the radiator and thermostat. Also changed the water pump with one for a 5.7.
Coolant was changed....

The vortec heads do make a little difference,
but there are a lot of choices when it comes to cylinder heads now a days.

This is not the first third gen that I have had a similar problem with.
This axle in Question is a 1991 10 bolt limited slip w/disc brake set up with 165,000 miles on it..
Not a Borg Warner Axle...
