have a look at the vaccum line from the manifold to booster. Sometimes the plastic fittings crack or the hose itself might be broken, etc

well, this is random, but I know the brn/tan single wire used for timing is kind of in that area. Make sure you didnt damage/cut/break it somehow when working in the area. Maybe leaning on it or...

i used that POS COVER but never had an issue w/ the water pump....THAT THING IS TRASH THOUGH..I have put many engines together, done a million cam swaps....that thing is cheap, flimsy, leaks like...
