Swap the heads and intake at the same time from your TPI motor, no need to worry about the intake bolt angle that way.

the guys at Vancouverfbody are usually good to set up a meet. The annual Spanish Banks meet in February is always really good, with the exception of some Mustangs attending the meet ;)

It's possible that someone swapped one in. In 24 years of ownership, someone along the line could have swapped in a 350. My bet is that someone told him when they sold him the car it was a 350...

Meh, doesn't affect me at all. It's a crappy bill to attempt to pass through for people who want to buy new cars, since realistically 150 km/h isn't that high at all.

I doubt the IROC in question was actually a 350; people constantly are fooled when buying second hand 305 equipped cars since they don't check block serial numbers and visually they look the same.

You will need a more aggressive cam in the L98 to make it keep up with the LS1, I do not think 1.6 rockers with the other mods will be enough to make it compete.

It's just much cheaper to put in a SBC in a car that was designed for one. The Fbodies never came with a 4.3L so it's slightly more difficult and you can easily make more power even with a small V8,...

Im almost certain you could only get the 5 speed with FWD, and in which case it only makes 180hp.

Was it a 6 speed or 5 speed manual? The 6 has 225hp and the 5 has 180. But I think the Quattro comes standard with the 6 speed/225hp combo...
