A+++ for Scoggin Dickey

I ordered a whole bunch of stuff to redo my heads (valves, springs, rockers, seals, gaskets). when the stuff showed up the gaskets were damaged slightly and some seals were missing (hole in the box).

called service dept and they resent the gaskets and seals no questions asked. (awesome)

then I decided against the cam and springs I got and sent everything back for a different setup. again customer service was right on the ball.

the whole process of getting all these parts was time consuming and that is my only grievance but if you take the time to talk to their service guy he is SUPER nice and worked with me until I was TOTALY satisfied with what was happening.

AWESOME.

(and cheaper than summit before shipping)

When i ordered from them for my motor, mini starter, valve covers, cam kit, ect, it was very smooth as well. Only thing that really pissed me off though, is that the tech guys at the time did not have answers to my questions, like for example, " Do i need the whole Hot Cam kit for $500 or just the roller rockers and cam?". Also, " Do the fastburn heads have the same springs as the LT4 heads?". Stuff like that and so i purchased the whole damn hot cam kit from them when all i really needed was the roller rockers and cam!! WTF. I guess thats what i get for not knowing too much, but then again, they recieved thousands of dollars from me(paid cash for my motor!) and they really did not know the products in which i was interested in! As far as prices go, they were pretty good on that too. Lowest at the time of my purchases. Overall they were nothing special, just a pleasure to do business with, no major snags or problems with them. later

i've had great dealings with SD, they have been so helpful that they have overnighted a flywheel to me for no extra charge. i have never had an issue with anything i have ordered from them, and their staff has been very friendly and helpfull.

I am having second thoughts about SD.

the timing chain they sent me was the wrong part in the box but labled as the right one (inventory error) and this will mark month 3 that I still do not have all the parts I ordered from them.

No doubt I will call and this will get resolved as the other problems have but with all the shipping I am paying for to get the wrong parts back to them I could have just ordered the parts from summit.

If you have to pay for shipping on their mistakes, there is something wrong there! How could you know that they sent the wrong part in another box?!? I wouldn't pay it. I would arrange for them to do all the leg work. Thats crazy. The only thing i could understand is the shipping costs for the first time they sent you parts. good luck

Bought a timing set, LS6 intake and a crank bolt. SDPC was outstanding with each purchase.
