ya I'm not done yet. i was also thinking of throwing some same style designs on the mirrors. that was my 1st attempt at painting designs on a car and i wasn't gutsy enough to put them on the hood. it think it would have looked neat to have it going up the hood around the scoop. i'm doing my other toy car in about a month or so and I'm going to get a little more crazy with it

There is a guy on the Jbody forums that painted his car almost the same exact color, it's funny because he got the same comments.

So, i pushed mine out of the garage this weekend. It's the first time in almost a year that it's seen sunlight. One of my neighbors came out of his house and asked if i just bought it... lol

My friends are just like that in fact about three or four of my friends asked so far and the others already know how I am with my car. They always say can I drive it, I will only go up and down the street. They think they can handle the power of a 350 I guess when they have an Intrigue, Saturn, and an accord all of them are four bangers. The reason I give for not letting them drive it is,
1. I get POd whenever my mom tries to take it for a spin
2. You drive something with 90 hp you cant handle this
3. I dont want to drive your car it is a piece of crud and is slow
4. The only time you can drive it is if you give me the $256,987 I asked for to rent it for the weekend.
5. If you wreck it the insurance only works if Im driving it and I wont get paid anything to fix it if someone hits you while you drive it.
6. Dude you paid about 3k-4k for your car and I paid $2300 for mine with $700 to fix a few things (tires and heater). You should have bought one when you had the chance. Its not my fault you wanted something that handles good on snow and wont get you any chicks!
7. I have already told you all the reasons before didnt you listen
I guess Im going to have to just keep a list of all the rules for my car and a list for the reasons they or anyone else cant drive it in my center console to hand to them everytime thet get in my car.

"my honda can beat that old thing" wait.. guess not!

People with no knowledge ask what year is it.

People with some knowledge ask what year it is and talk about the IROC they had that was just a V6 or was an RS.lol. Then they ask if the spoiler is original.

People with good knowledge want to know how I keep it running so good.

People with lots of knowledge want to know if the paint is the original color.

And everyone wants to know how much do I want for it. I say twice what I bought it for.

After doing a big smokey doughnut in a parking lot, a gentlemen that has watched too many donk camaro videos asked me before anything "is that a RS?"

 

With my old V6 Firebird, I got a lot of crap. Asking "why don't I just get a V8".
And when I finally get a GTA, it's all "A 305? Why not a 350?"

And from my buddy with an S2000:
"Why don't you just sell that money pit and get a Honda?"

 

and when you have a 350 everyone tries to talk you into a 383 or a 400.. then a big block etc... it never ends.

 

I took my car to put air in the tires before i took it to be painted. So i am squatting down putting air in the tire and not looking up. The next thing i know i see a pair of work boots. I look up and see this guy and he says i was driving down the street and saw your car. Is that a real Z. I said yea. He said that he has not seen a real Z in that good shape in a long time and asked if i wanted to sell it. I said sorry man iam taking it to the body shop to have it painted. He was like ok here is my number, when you get ready to sell it call me. LOL I am not selling it. LOL

Then the next day on my way to the body shop someone pulled me over and asked me the same thing. Is that a real Z etc. Lots of people like the 3rd gen Camaros. Oh i did have one guy ask me why iam i keeping the car all original. LOL

But the best thing I always say to a ***** is "Nice Blender" or "Is your blender supercharged?" Pisses 'em off every time, and I laugh my *** off.

having it called a camaro, wrong year, wrong engine...i've gotten into an argument with a guy when i told him i have an LT1. he said it's impossible because they didn't come out with them until '92.
I've also gotten into an argument with a guy who had an IROC with a TPI and claimed it was an LT1. couldn't convince him different.
