This is a Nomination Thread for cars that will compete for this month's Car of the Month honor. The most popularly nominated cars will be compiled into a Voting Thread within a couple weeks.

You can either nominate somebody else's car, or second a nomination (but not both). Cars must have a second nomination in order to make it to the Voting Thread.


Nomination Guidelines

• Nominations must be of high quality, finished state, and in working order. No unrealistic, overly processed images. Please accompany the nomination with,
  • a single large, high quality photo
  • name of TGO member (with proper caps and spaces)
  • year, make, and model of car

• Do not nominate your own car. Your car must be nominated by another TGO member. Cars must have a second nomination in order to continue to the Voting Thread.

• Likewise, do not ask another family member or friend to join TGO for the purpose of nominating your car. Do not use multiple member accounts to nominate your own car.

• Do not nominate more than one car.

• If you are nominated, please DO go out and take an abundance of good quality photos of your car (multiple angles, interior, engine) and make them publicly accessible (for example via a photo album in your public profile, or some sort of hyperlink to your photo album).

Bob88GTA is going to pull his '89 Turbo TA out of the running. He's had multiple COTM wins with other cars and would prefer somebody else have fun in his place.

So everybody keep up the hunt!

@Big&BadGTA , you and I get our nominations back to use for somebody else.

 

I would personally like to see Bob88GTA remain in the list. My opinion is the more the merrier when it comes to this. The COVID-19 virus has made this spring and summer suck, so let's make this month a great month full of nominations that give the membership something to enjoy. My opinion only.

 

Yep, it's been 4 years since any Turbo TA was last nominated. We want to see that rare 'Bird.

Also, I don't know if t_towner will see this thread before it is over and gone, so maybe keep options alive. I've reached out to him by PM and we'll just let time decide things.

So just to explain further, Bob thought that car had already been in COTM and was being considerate of others. We looked through COTM history and this is the first time that car has been nominated. The TTA is back in the game, baby!

 

C'mon people. Submit some car nominations. We need at least a dozen to make this fun and challenging!

Wow, 6 cars already pushed through. That hasn't happened all year.

 

Thank you to the members who nominated my GTA! I will hopefully have my car back Monday/Tuesday and I will take some more pictures and do a write up.

I usually close the nomination threads after it serve its usefulness, but I'm opening this one back up for the reason above. This is an important topic and I want people to be free to respond or give words of encouragement.
