Will new C6 rims fit on our cars?

Will new C6 rims fit on our cars?
Hi, sorry im not very good with wheels and offsets etc etc.
But according to my reading they are
18" x 8.5" (+56mm offset with 6.93" backspacing) rims for the front and two 18" x 10.5" (+56mm offset/7.94" backspacing) for the rear. The lug pattern is 5x120.65mm.
Any help would be appreciated.

From what I've read the actual C6 wheel sizes are:
18x8.5 front (GM 9594351) 58mm 6.53" BS
19x10 rear (GM 9594353) 79mm 8.11" BS
The 2" adapters will work for the 8.5" wheels, and if you have real C6 (not C6 style imitation wheels, with a real C6 offset) 19x10" rears, you can use our 2.25" billet adapters. I've seen a lot of places sell C6 style wheels with the C4/C5 offsets, too, which is what the wheel specs you posted seem to be. I hope this helps!

Those wheels look pretty sharp. I was afraid the lack of a dish would hurt the appearance of those wheels on a 3rd gen but it appears that isn't true. I have to admit that I really find humor in that license plate.

he needs some C5 brakes and rotors on there. With those kinda rims, you deff need to show off a good set of rotors

Damn you Andris.. always jumpin on my Ideas.. was just about to come to you for a set of billet adapters for C6's . I was expecting you to say "Well Goku, i've never made any for them, and i've not seen it done yet... thats going to look badass"... but no.. instead.. "oh yeah.. C6's.. yeah i've got a set on my daily beater.. . J/K, they look awesome, was going to inquire about these rims though.. will you make the adapters for those, (same wheels you have but the black ones assuming I can find them), and whats the cost ?

Heh - Omnipotentgoku, that's not my car. Those pictures are from my customer web gallery at http://www.skulte.com/gallery/view_a...Customer-Cars, and that it Matt Ringsmuth's Camaro with the C6 rims.
This is my car:
I've got Z06 rims on it now, and some CCW 3 piece wheels for the track.

Sorry i got caught up this week with work and havnt had much of a chance to get back here,,
ok, well if i got the rims with the offset i posted above
18" x 8.5" (+56mm offset with 6.93" backspacing) rims for the front and two 18" x 10.5" (+56mm offset/7.94" backspacing) for the rear. The lug pattern is 5x120.65mm.
Would i be able to put those on a third gen, and if so what adapters etc would i need.
Thanks
(note that i understand that these wheels are c6 style not actualy C6, what i got out of the replies was a little confusing and that the imitations are the same offset as 4th gen fbodys, correct? so then i would just need the normal adapters.)

mykah891,
Our 2" adapters would work out perfectly for the 8.5" wide, 56mm offset wheels. That size is very similar to the stock 4th gen 16x8 wheels.
Zepher,
Neither! The rear axle currently is now 9", widened 1.25" per side compared to the third-gen axle.

If I got a set of 17x9.5s, I'd need 2 inch spacers on the front, right? I have a 4th gen rear end, so, would the rears be ok? The ones I am considering getting are +54mm offset, but they don't list the backspacing.

Exactly. The 4th gen rear end is similar to running 2" adapter. A 17x9.5 rim with a 56mm offset would be pretty tight with 2" adapters (by the strut and also tie rod), and we usually recommend 2.25" with the factory brakes (unless you have 1LE or the LS1/C5 brakes). You're welcome to try the 2" thick adapters, and I can exchange them for 2.25" if needed...

My other set say 53mm and they are fine.

I plan to have C5 rotors on 12" rotors by the time I get the wheels. However, I plan to use the stock wheels most of the time (cheaper tires) and the 17s as race/show wheels. Would I need to go ahead and get the 2.25"s or would the 2"s be ok? Thanks for the help!

Ok. Thank you. I'll be ordering a set of spacers as soon as I get the money for wheels this summer. In college now, so not too much money coming in. Thanks again.

kubus - that is an awesome shade of blue. What is that, exactly? It reminds me of the 'medium blue metallic' they had on the 1999 Camaro/Firebird...

I'd love to be able to tell you what code it is but I just dont know. I picked the color from a GM book of samples but didnt think to remember the code or the year or car it came from. Personally, I have never seen another car with this same color. I thought I saw a couple GMC Sierras that were sort of similar but not the same. This is a Dupont paint. Thats as much as I can help. Im sorry.

Looks awesome. I agree with the tint idea. I bought mine with 5% tint. The tint with the black stripes and the headlight pockets and grille really bring the car together, IMO.
See the difference in legal....and not
Nice shade of blue, BTW. Really goes with the chrome.

All I can say is WOW both cars look extremely good with those rims but Kubus do you have the same size rim in front and back? 18's on both right? I really love the red Iroc with 18's in front and 19's in back.

I'm going with the 17s too. The tires for 18s and 19s are too pricey for me. They do look better than I thought. Wicked is a better term. Some 18s look TOO big on 3rd Gens, IMO. Those just seem to fit. I'll be rocking on the 17s, just like kubus_stroinski .
BTW, what width wheel you running?

Re: Will new C6 rims fit on our cars?
Why not revive a 16 year old thread! I love the look of that red Camaro. I'm looking to replace my 4th gen ZR1 wheels with a set of C6 OEM wheels. I'm trying to solve what is the exact size adapters I need? I have the 8.8 rear end built by Hawks. I know Skulte is out of business. Where else can I get these adapters? Thanks for any help
