'8746 ECU file

Anyone got a ECU definition file for a 1228746 ECM, ('89 305 TBI LO3)? (for Winbin or promedit)

I've searched the web and diy-efi ftp site and I can't seem to find anything...

TIA,

Mark

Sure, thanks! I started to look at mine and only began finding the spark table (I think ) with WinHex and Excel. If you got the addresses figured out, than it'll make the job easier and a ECU file for the 8746 is finally going to be available.

thanks Pablo,

Mark

Guys,

If you are serious about burning your own chips and you have the 746 ECM then I would seriously recommend that you consider swapping this ECM for the 747 unit. The 747 Unit is well known on the internet and it has been hacked to pieces in terms of the code. The .ecu file is readily available and TunerCat comes with the calibration file for this ECM. It is very well known and, as I understand it, its a pretty easy swap to complete.

Why swap ECMs? Pablo talked me out of it because I was thinking about doing it. I understand that the 8746 has an IAT sensor while the 7747 doesn't. I don't know if this is very important but it is an extra sensor for the chip to use. I understand that the MAP sensor is the more important but still, why spend even MORE money on an ECM?
