Car: 1989 IROC--1989 T/A
Engine: 5.7 TPI in both
Transmission: W/C T-5 in both
Axle/Gears: B/W 3.27 in both
whats the rpo code for aluminum spare tire

The RPO N64 aluminum space-saver wheel was only available on factory 16"x8" wheel equipped 3rd gen F-bodies.

My car had one and the damn guy who picks up the scrap metal(you know the guy who drives up and down the ally's in the pick up truck with about 10 tons of crap in the bed) stole it!!!! It was sitting in my yard and the bastard went in and took it!!! I chased his *** for a block in that slow *** pick up truck, but he got away.
For what its worth, not all N64's are aluminum. Both my convertible and formula have N64 on the rpo sheet, and black steel economy spares... Its possible that they were changed by a previous owner, but in the convertible its next to impossible to remove the spare and the car has the original tires and the spare doesnt look to have ever been removed.

no kidding.. it took me forever to get the darn spare out of my convertible.. thank god i wasn't on the side of the road needing to put it on.. just wanted to get it out to cut some weight down.. put a can of fix a flat back 
hell.. it's hard enuf to get a jack situated under the car anywayz.. think what it'd be like with a flat and on the side of a road.. probably wouldn't be to fun or easy to change..

just throwing in my opinion.. if you've ever changed tires, you'll agree with me.. don't use fix-a-flat... grow some ***** and put the spare on.. I hated cars that came in and I had to change a tire with fix-a-flat in it...

well, I don't work there anymore-- don't have to mess with it.. so I get to pay someone to put my tires on.. but I will never use fix-a-flat to fix a tire, unless there's no way around it.

my 89 rs convertible did'nt come with a spare.i tried to use one out of an 84 z28,even let the air out ,could'nt force it in,so now it rides in the well
