My friend's got one sitting in his driveway I believe it to be a '83, but i'm not sure. The condition is absolutly terrible. But. What can anyone on here tell me about the 500LE's?

I've had my 3rd gen for about a year now. Never once taken it. Instead, I wash it with ICE Turtlewax every Thursday. That stuff does wonders.

I would like to know how you fine folk keep your car...

Nothing fancy going on. Stock V6. I did put in some cupholders that I pride myself with :) but that's about it. I try to keep it as clean as I can.

Transmission problem?

My RPM gauge twitches out between 2500 and 3500rpms. and the whole car starts to sputter. As far as i can tell, it only does this in 1st gear. I'm not much of a mechanic, at all. But can anyone tell...

I can easily make any of you a set. With or without lights. I'm pretty much limited to clear, red blue yellow, or green. I can also custom-engrave the bottoms.

Yes. They do get in the way... but I run my radio mostly through my MP3 Player, which is on a cord. so it works out.
