Port design differences... SBC (TPI) motors have the two center exhaust ports together (siamesed) and LS1s have equidistant exhaust ports (all are the same distance apart...)

The starter enable relay is down in the driver's side foot well behind the kick panel. Basically to the left of where your feet would be. Once you remove the kick panel, locate the big (10 gauge)...

HSR will fit under stock hood of your TA - WITH MODIFICATIONS. I had to cut out the cross bracing for it to fit mine, but it fits just fine w/o the bracing.

I did the same thing. I changed my coil w/ no result, then my ECM w/ no result... Then I put another chip in and it was fine.

What setup is your car? 305/350? TPI? MAF car? AT? You can probably...

Years ago I had a problem very similar on my car. It would start cold, run fine until about 15 mins later and stop. Once cool again it would start...

Ended up it was a bad chip...

Are you sure the distributor is aligned correctly and not out of phase? Did you cross up the plug wires to the wrong cylinder on the dizzy, or plugs?

PROBLEM SOLVED!

Ended up that the Starter Enable Relay was the problem. Read about similar situations with engine swaps (tpi to carb, or tpi to lt/ls1) where the symptoms were very close to mine....

Yes they are still available. They are in great shape as you can see by the pictures. They probably have around 10,000 miles on them. They will fit in either a 305, 350 or anything else for that...

Well I got into it again tonight. I ended up routing it through the inner fender and kick panel like the factory harness. Everything for the C950 is long enough... EXCEPT FOR THE O2 SENSOR CONNECTOR!...
