Re: Trouble Starting a Car That's Been Stored a Long Time

Fuel is never making it to the injectors. The car will fire up with a couple shots of starting fluid so I know fuel is my only problem.

It's a TBI so I could see no fuel was spraying out of the...

Trouble Starting a Car That's Been Stored a Long Time

My dad has a 1990 Camaro RS with 19,000 miles on it. It's been sitting in his garage for about 10 years under a cover. He just recently got the itch to get it up and running.

He bought a new...

I've thought about buying that exact tool a couple of times. I seams to be the most affordable set that I could find.

My recommendation is picking something with a lifetime warranty. It might cost a little more to start with, but will save you a lot in the long run.

What don't I like? Just that usual stuff. The rattles, the rust, the poor paint, the brakes that don't work as well as my 1981 Olds'.

Re: (HELP!) Silverstar Fog Lights

There are a ton of junk yards in Des Moines. I don't know if any of them are particularly good for our cars, though. Your best bet is to give them a call to see if they have what you're looking for.

Re: Will this hurt how my car performs?

Start your car and let it idle. Grab a can of carb cleaner or ether or something and give the crack a quick spray or two. If the RPM changes at all then you have a leak and should get it fixed.
