Why do you need the stock harness? Is it different from yours? From all the cars I have seen, you will have to cut the pig tail off and splice it to your car.

Re: About to blow my car up.

Did you test the starter solenoid wire? Check for 12v when the key is turned to start. If no 12v then start moving backwards. Also, do you hear the fuel pump prime now?

There will be an extra solenoid mounted to the motor. It should have a single wire connection. If there is no solenoid, then you dont have remote release.

Re: Sloppy tilt wheel on 91 Formula

I agree with onefast91vert. The column in my 91 was junk due to ovaled tilt pins. I tore the whole thing down do the 4 bolt fix and I saw the drivers side tile pin barely in the hole.

Re: No relay or ecm power

Also do you have a fuel pressure regulator before your carb? That fuel injection pump is going to drown your motor.

Did you swap the dash harness as well?

Re: No relay or ecm power

Why are you concerned with the computer if you went carb? Your car does not need it. IS this a computer controlled Q-jet? If it is not you should be able to run your motor with just the basic wires.

Re: Temperature guage installation help

If you pulled the sensor from the water neck, put it back. The temp gauge sender is in the drivers side head. You may need an adapter to make it fit. Your computer needs the CTS to function.
