The complete instrument panel harness needs to be changed on the Firebird. Unfortunately you cannot simply swap in the gauge cluster. There are several disscussion threads on this.

I used these guys Southern Electronics in Richmond VA, to refurbish the UT4 head unit in my Firebird. Excellent work and reasonably priced concidering they fixed everything including the cassette....

I would agree, the 5.0 Liter H.O. should not be there on a CFI car. The windshield molding looks wider and a lighter color than the original. This may be the result of a glass shop using a generic...

What you have in the 86 Firebird parts car is the UQ7 sound system. This was the premium sound system in the Firebird (85'-89'). It does have a small amp under the dash near where the map pocket is....

My firebird has a build date of July 1985 and has the base coat clear coat paint from the factory, (GM black) so it appears some of the late build 85's came with BCCC.

Yes, the AC Delco 10477565 distributor O-ring is viton, and brown in color. This is an upgraded part from the original black distributor O-ring that came with the thirdgen F-cars when they were new.
