Re: ft suspension mounting points

Cosmick,

To your point, how much do you raise the rear of the front arms? 1/4", 1/2", 1"? What are the draw backs (handling wise) of moving the mount?

I don't understand the "inner ends". Do...

Re: ft suspension mounting points

Well, is this a conclusion? Lots of looking, but no concrete answers. Is it safe to conclude that modifications would make the car handle better, but none have been done before?

Re: Dart Al block in a 'street legal' vehicle?

I don't want 500 ft-lbs of torque at 2k. It is hard to hook up on street tires massive amounts of torque and get good consistant acceleration. One of my buddies had a 396 Chevelle which...

Re: Dart Al block in a 'street legal' vehicle?

Dart Al block in a 'street legal' vehicle?

I have been wanting to build a 'large' bore small block for a while now. Part of my concern is getting it through smog visually. I know I can transplant a newer motor and get it approved for smog,...

Excellent results. Espically slugging that through the 700r4! This 400 rwhp engine you mentioned, is it still 350 based?

Orr89, you are getting better numbers on the dyno when the trans is locked up because you are loosing the slip in the converter and not creating waste heat in the trans fluid. (Obviously.) It also...
