Ok... It has 45 psi of fuel pressure, fire and still doesn't start. You said earlier that you've replaced the pick-up coil. Did you check the pick-up coil adjustment? Magnetic crank sensors requires...

You should have a diagnostic connector under the driver's side dash . Just jump the two pins at the right top . Then the SES should flash 1 time then two time faster (3 times) . It indicates a code...

RPM's too high when warmed up and it does indeed runs a little too rich ... Have you checked the coil fire with a spark tester ?

Sorry but pressure built in the gas tank is absolutely normal . That's why we have an EVAP canister , a purge solenoid and a vent solenoid .

First you need to check if the solenoid wiring is ok . Then , if there's no problem , you should bring your starter to your local autoparts or mechanic to have it tested. There is sure a starter...

First : ground the coil wire and see if it fires properly . Next check your injectors and watch if they are spitting normally . If it's all okay , probably the idle air control valve (IAC) ...

Just bought hedman shorty headers and I don't see any O2 sensor plug . I tought about drilling a hole in it and weld in a hex nut with the same tread/size of the O2 . Is there a better solution...

Anyways summit sells some good sets of 5.7 or 6.0 rods pre-balanced and made especially for a 406 small block chevy , and they're not so expensive ... You also need a matching set of pistons though...
