I'd say fuel pressure regulator, I got the holley version, going on 11 years with no problem, then again, I put 500 miles a year on the car.

I read many magazines that has TPI tests, most if not all using aftermarket ECM. Granted these test have been just the engine on a dyno stand. Has anybody been able to get 350+ hp from a factory ECM...

My brother-in-law had black 91' RS 305 TPI with hood blisters and high rise spoiler. I thaught the hood and the spoiler was an option on the 91-92 RS but standard on Z28. ONLY 1 or 2 COMMENTS PLEASE....

I made a comment awhile back saying its too much money, after thinking about it.... its average price. intakes goes for around $400+ and runners $350 and the plenum off E-bay around $50. I see summit...

What information I gathered, when you swap a tpi to any of the carb crate engines, the horsepower will drop around 20-30 hp. That's with a stock tpi setup.

everything I needed, I taped into a hot wire under the console for the power. The one thing I did add to the TPI NOS was an extension to the TPS on the throttle body.

I went with an Edelbrock purge kit. P/N 72176 around $105. It comes with a long flexable plastic tubeing. I'll post some pics of purge and bottle mounting.

I've yet to use it. I finished the wiring Saturday, The bottle cost $51 to fill. I'm starting with 75 shot, use that a couple times, then use the 100 shot. My car has 95K miles on it.

I made the bracket. I liked the Nitrous Works style, at the last minute I changed my mind. alunuminum tubing with 1/8" X 1 1/2 "steel bar welded togather then powder coated.

You can add 1.6 rockers arms, one way is to buy some world S/R heads or summit brand heads for for rebuilt 350, take the stock heads and sell them on e-bay to get some of your money back.

From what I been reading, most crate engines are tested with a carb, 330HO, 355ZZ4, 385HP, adding a TPI (stock tpi) will reduce horsepower by 30.
