please share whatever you are smoking to think that a 5.0 will run 13s. to get a 5 speed LX notch break 13s, you will need bolt ons and gear with DRs, for a hatch, vert, or auto, you will need...

the 4Vs respond increadibly well to mods but that still seems a little bit high, usually there just a tick quicker then a 99-04 GT factory stock, they run high 13s on average, which for the weight...

actually unless someone cant drive, and ls1 is a low 13 second/high 12 second car, a 99-04 stang is a low 14-mid 14 second car

PI intake or PI swap? a intake will do next to nothing, a PI swap will put him around 240 rwhp, my next question would be why do a PI swap and leave tall *** 2.73s in the rear?

your not gettin 14s out of a 305 unless you get into the motor, i had exhaust and 3.73s in my 92 and my 02 v6 mustang with exhaust/CAI (the whole 1 hp it added) ran half a second quicker and trapped...

hes an auto, the tranny is slipping (on its way out)

94 was a 5.0 so if he had that much HP he must of sprayed or had HCI or just had no clue what he was talking about

a 4.0 stang will do low to mid 15s showroom stock, if its got a CAI/exhaust he SHOULD have a tuner (you need to tune them for everything) to go with it, which should get it into the 14s

should knock about .3-.5 tenths off, it was deffinately one of the best mods i did to my car, and i still even got over 20 mpg with 3.73s :)

i had 3.73s in my 92 and still got 21-22 on the highway, 3.42s would prob be well rounded for everything

and if you have an open diff your going to want to upgrade to a LSD like auburn or detroit...

if it was a hatch or a vert then its an even match, but a 5 speed notch is capable of mid 14s, but he should take you unless he screws something up

seing as the 96 is a single port (well stock) and is a high 16 second car you should be able to take him, however my 02 used to run with my full exhaust/373 geared LO3 car:(

depending on what you do with the tranny, 3.42s and a detroti true trac will go nicely behind a turbo 350, if you keep...

ive got a 92 LO3 ttops with 3.73s, mega shifter, and full exhaust with shorties in western Mass, id like to get 2k but that might be negotiable, it runs fine but needs like 8-9 hours of front end work

give me an offer, runs like 240* ish, been driven back and forth to maine (300 mile round trip) 4 or 5 times since ive had the 3.73s installed, burns no oil, and it has a brand new $500 magnaflow...

LO3, 3.73 gov lok rear, side exit exhaust with no cat (still have cat tho in garage if you want it), new front suspention, newer tranny, B&M megashifter odo says 202k but unsure, speedo was not...
