Re: Home Made Trailer

If I had that trailer to start with, I'd have a 20ft deck and a 2.5 ft dovetail. With a 20ft deck you will have enough room for a golf cart on front if you wish. I wouldn't cut the front off, I'd...

Re: Live at the track 16 sept 2012

With that much difference, I'd be checking out where the contact is on the cam. You may need a longer pump drive if your contact is too low on the cam.

Re: 327 swap in a 84 sc

I was guessing it on it being a 383. I'll still say mid 11s, like you're thinking. My 383 ran 6.40 1/8s pretty consistantly in a 2850 lb. car with less cam and a little better head, on 100 octane...

Re: 327 swap in a 84 sc

Why go down on the cam? If those heads have been ported by someone that knows, they could very well flow decent. That motor should make at least 550 hp, maybe more. If it's got good rods, it'll make...

Re: My set up ur opinion on 1/8 time.

My guess is low to mid 8s in the 1/8. It'll take a ho bunch more to run 6.8s. Might even be cheaper to buy a car that's already to run 6.8s than to build one with this economy. Lots of race cars out...
