Removing top frame?

Has anyone yanked the top frame out of their car? Looking down into the mechanism those are some pretty beefy springs. Don't want to lop off my fingertips.

This. Just find a local wrap company. Or stop by a car dealership and ask who does all their PPF installs.

Re: Pop-Up Headlight Delete Kit -(BraveTECH)

Did you only design the website for mobile? It's practically unreadable using chrome on windows10.

Looks like a really cool product. Can't wait to see it installed on some cars.

Re: Any other cars besides your third gen?

Oh man. 15-20 years ago when this website was still fledgling, my thirdgen was my only passion. Daily drove it, used it as a truck, used it to travel, used it in snow, everything. Nowadays I either...

That's awesome. Those wheels were a great choice. I have a picture somewhere of one of those 17s fitting over my c6 z06 brakes.

Re: Making a key for my 92 Firebird Doors and Hatch

When I worked at chevy about a decade ago we had all the old keycode books and just called GM for the vehicle's stock keycode using the VIN. '90 was the oldest thirdgen I could get info about though.

I second Charged355. Very nice.

Re: 18X11 Wheel fitment guide

Bingo. I've never built a set of wheels but that makes absolutely no sense to me. I can understand the idea of it being rough cast or something similar but it seems like it'd be much more difficult...

We've passed 20 years around here. Crazy. I imagine there are few that have posted from the beginning. Since there is a 10 year badge, is there a 20 year badge that I just haven't seen?

Re: Stupid Push to start button!

I don't see how if could go from ground to the switch and then the starter. The starter solenoid requires power to actuate it so power has to come from somewhere.

Re: Stupid Push to start button!

Follow the wires for the momentary switch back to where there attach to the car. I agree it's probably to bypass the VATS starter relay.
