Another Headlight Conversion Idea

Now i wouldnt know how someone would go about doing this but ive been reading all over the message boards about doing headlight conversions and i had a thought that was mentioned in one thread. Does anyone think that doing a 300zx light conversion on our cars would work? I personally think that it would look very good. I know that ppl have mentioned doing sleepy eye conversions and also the conversion that redraif did but i didnt know if anyone else was interested in doing something like that for their third gen. If anyone has ideas let me know. heres a pic for those of you not familiar with the 90-96 Nissan 300zx

i did not specifically about the 300zx only about headlight modifications that ppl have done. Now the thread that i have found;

https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=214575

That is only talking about camaros nothing about firebirds. Now i know that the 82-90 birds can do what redraif did but the 91-92's would have to pull the sleepy eye conversion which would cause the lights to be up even if only a little. I have an 87 so i could go both ways with it but because i have a bird i cant buy 300zx lights and modify the light housing like someone with a camaro can, the angle of the lense is completely different for the bird. Im guessing that something would have to be completely fabricated for the application and was wondering if anyone had ideas more or less specifically for firebirds.

Go for a set of C5R HID's. I'd do it, but all my cars are Camaro's, not Birds. I think those lights would look really good on a Bird.

here is a lil better one...im trying to do this conversion to my firebird...the only thing is that the hood on the bird cuts off at the bumper as the fiero hood still has about an inch or 2....makes it a lil harder to figure this thing out on the bird

you could make it continueous by puting a clear cover over the top but you have to have it mounted somehow with only having three sides attached....you can have it attached all around..that is to have it conneccted to to the sheet metal on the front..but remember that hood has to go up sometime...right? and having it that way the whole thing will be lifted as the hood elevates...dont really want to do that...so i dont know...there's got to be a way to do it..or maybe its not worth it...im still gonna try tho...
