All good ideas. Have you thought about a vinyl wrap? If I were to do my car again I would do vinyl with a 1984 Chevrolet Race Team theme.

Yes, you are missing the under dash panel that covers all of the wires. It connects above the pedals and comes up to the bottom of the dash, just under the steering column.
