I'm not sure that would be such a good idea if the seat belt light was to burn out. Another place I've seen the kill switch route to is the coil. You can splice into the cables in the coil and route...

Like I said, find the ignition wire, cut it in half, splice a couple of wires on each side and route them to wherever you choose, put a toggle switch at the end of that, put everything back together,...

Ah ok! So it is the GTO with 4-doors hence the G8 aka the Grand Prix. Thanks for the clarification. So, Monaro is the GTO and Commodore is the G8.

That's just ridiculous isn't it?! I did that too on the first stereo! :lmao:For the second one, I bought the wiring harness and rewired everything properly. Same harness worked for the third stereo....

Check the lowside plug with a volt meter or light tester. No need to check the switch itself since there is no power coming from there to begin with.

Try stripping a small section of the wires...

I second that. I don't ever remember seeing a factory thirdgen T/A with the single seat back for the backseat. Those look just like my friend's fourthgen seats. His is a '94 btw.

I doesn't create HP it reduces PPL (parasitic power loss). They shave weight off of your car in general and the less weight makes it easier for the tranny to turn the DS and the less weight makes it...
