The cheapest supercharger you could get new would probably be a Weiand 144, around $1860 I think. They make a kit for TBI'd trucks as mentioned, but also as mentioned, it might be difficult to adapt...

Didn't get to try your fix xlwhellraiser, but I managed to pass! After all that junk I replaced, it turned out that doing two treatments with Seafoam through the TBI got my car running squeaky clean....
