For years I heard and believed that the best carb for a street driven auto
was a 750 v.s..But the two carbs I have enjoyed the most are a holley 650
d.p. and an 800 q-jet off a 77 400 trans am...

If you haven`t bought injectors yet the ford injectors work just fine and are quite a bit cheaper too.Summit racing carries them. Good Luck.

I never owned a T.P.I. motor before but I thought the wall was closer to 4800
rpm.You could try shifting earlier and see if it helps?

still love it.It has an rpm range of 1800-5600. I run a corvette
