Had a couple people say nice Z, I said its actually an RS, both times they replied with oh, the Z wheels fooled me or a response along those lines. There only stock 91-92 16" wheels, but for some reason people think they only came on the Z28s.

I've also been told many times that a V8 is rare for an RS, I just leave it alone and go on my way.

 

Yeah, but not knowing specific things about 3rd gens like that is forgivable, at least they know its a camaro, lol.

btw, just a side note. My camaro is fitted iwth a LPG tank. ( liquid petrol gas )
a mix from propane and buthane.

i get teh same hemi **** about my camaro lmfao, and my Z24! Iv also got a 1989 Z24 cavy with a bored 2.8 MPFI v6 with a cam in it a real loud exhaust (no cat single cherry bomb slits into duals so it has duals out the bumper since no cavy has dual exhaust)

My boss keeps asking me about my 4 speed that I had in it...it was a stock t-5 until I put in a t56. but mostly I get "man that thing is loud, whats under the hood". One time while sitting at a red light, this big dodge truck full of people pulled up next to me and the passanger asked me what rpms I idle at.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong or if you did a swap I thought a z24had a straight 4 hint z24 then there was a corsica? Z26 had a v6. Then the mighty z28 has an 8.

But I could be wrong about all of this

 

buzz, ur right and your wrong, pre 95 z24s wer v6s, i own one, 89 Z24 2.8L v6 bored and stroked and camed with a 5 speed, after 95 when they changed teh body style every cavalier was a 4 cylinder after that z24 or not, all wer 4 bangers, either a 2.0 2.2 2.3 or 2.4,

and yes z26s wer v6s also, same motor that came in the z24 either 2.8 or 3.1 depending on the year, the z34 was a DOHC 3.4 i think,

and dont down a lil 2.8 LOL, my lil 2.8 takes 305s =) well stock ones =)

yeah well not to mention people mainly think about hp for some reason yeah my z might have 340 hp and ur nissan maxima might have "350" but thats prolly at the crank not the wheels and you got no torque lol

 

I love it. always get people who no nothing about cars and think HP is everything. i always get the my maxima is in the 300 range and would smoke you. then we race and they get smoked. lol. love the look on there face.

Yeah, they don't understand power to weight ratio either......most people understand hp and don't even know that hp isn't acceleration, torque is...... hp is top speed, but try to explain that to them and they just won't get it till you show them...

Is it fast? Sounds fast, Is it going to stall , And I say fast enough for me and yes it sounds this way because it has true duall exhaust,and it is not stalling it has a bumpy cam. And I leave it at that and get going before they say what is a bumpy cam?...LOL

-how fast is it..... faster than my buddys cars
-who did all the work..... as im 25 years old and a liscenced tech i did lol
-is it powerfull.... dunno haven tried it ( but if they look closer there is sometimes rubber in the quarter panels )
how good on gas is it.... allmost as cheap as my honda as it cost me 5 dollars more than my civic for 400kms lol
