When I did mine I think I only had the factory gasket material on mine. There was so much rot with the gaskets that I couldn't even tell if glue was used. Also, I could not find the same thickness...

There should be 2 screws on each end the T-bar and then 3 or 4 down each side, also. They may be rusted over but I'm not sure since you don't have a pic of the T-bar up. Also, there could be some...

I have it and I have no complaints with it. I had a local shop weld it in so I can't tell you how it all bolts together. Sounds pretty good too.

As long as you got that overlapping sheet metal sealed up you should be ok. Also, leave your headliner out for a week or two and see if anything leaks.

Because my manual said my engine is designed to run on premium grade gasoline and its says I should run at least 91 octane on another page, so, I guess thats why I run premium grade gasoline?

The best thing you can do is remove the weatherstripping and then remove the T-Bar. You can let the weatherstripping dangle over the doors.. it doesn't need to come off.

Clean up all the old glue...
