The monsoons also have a factory amplifier in the panel in front of the spare tire.. there is a silver box right next to the power antenna for all the connections to the speakers an so forth.

Does anyone know how to get a 4th gen radio out of LOC? I have a 97 Firebird CD player i want to put in my 87, but i cant get the radio to come out of loc mode.

Yes there is lexan, The sub is in a sealed enclosure, that was the hardest part to get the correct air space for the sub, and to fit it around all the bumps in the well...
