Thanks guys. Borrowed a buddies push pin set and leaned the cracked slave cylinder against the frame of the car and carefully hammered away. Kinda hard to do one handed with a foot of clearance...

Thanks Paulo. I kinda figured I'd need some sort of tool like the punch pin. I'd need to use the pin with a hammer right?

It's pretty tough trying to balance a loose and hanging broken slave...

I just picked up a new clutch slave cylinder from Part Source today for $65. Dorman CS37821 for V8 TPI manual transmissions. I spent almost an hour under the car on my back with limited space...
