Amen to that! IMHO, the graphics for the early 3gens were perfect for the cars. When I see an 82+ Z28 without the stripes, they look a little 'naked' or incomplete.

Good points. That's the one thing about RWL (raised white letter) tires - there was a definite break away from them in the mid-1980's, making them look 'odd' on cars like the IROC-Z for example...
