The way the inertia lock works is, when it feels negative g force it locks the belts. If you can pull your shoulder belt out while firm braking ,it is not working.

The photo Drummer Dad posted is my car. The strut tower brace is a Edelbrock. Made for TBI / Carb. It was in there before Hawks did the swap for me. It fits well , no mods needed.

I have one done by Hawks done about 3-4 years ago. It costs but you get what you pay for. It looks factory and has run perfect over three years. It's a daily driver year round.

Over the years I figure I have spent about 14,000.00 with Hawks. Bruce is a great guy. Any time there was a problem or mix up Bruce took of it and me.

I did not have to cut them at all. But I got mine many years ago. I have heard that later ones had to be cut.

I got them a little over two years ago. It,s true panhard rods move less than LCAs. But real roads are rougher than the race tracks the rods were made for and they will ware out and start to clunk IMO
